Honest, self-reflective lyrics and a warm, engaging vocal style have won Audrey Lee Johnson fans of all ages and backgrounds. Audrey is a 26-year-old folk rock singer/songwriter from Orlando, Florida who uses her years of classical music training, her BA in Creative Writing, and her guitar to create thought-provoking, passionate songs.

PAST PERFORMANCES
Audrey Lee Johnson has earned respect and admiration from audiences throughout Florida. In Orlando, she has performed at the Central Station Bar, Tanqueray’s, Underground Bluz, JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes, Natura Coffee & Tea, Orlando Public Library, as well as various other coffeehouses and bars. She has developed a following in the Tampa area, by performing at the Ybor Bunker, Whistle Stop Grill & Bar, and the ProStar Studio Soundstage. In December, 2007 Audrey performed and was interviewed on the Studio10 morning show on Tampa Bay’s WTSP-TV. She has also performed in various venues in Jacksonville, including her May 2009 performance outside the Jacksonville Landing. After an impressive performance at the 2008 Winter Garden Music Fest, Audrey has been invited back to perform at the same festival in 2009.

INFLUENCES
Audrey Lee Johnson draws inspiration from a variety of artists, ranging from Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Joel, to Tori Amos and Pearl Jam. While all of her favorite musicians affect her approach to songwriting and performance, her songs and style are most similar to Ani Difranco, Tracy Chapman, Patty Griffin, Indigo Girls, KT Tunstall, Emiliana Torrini, and Fiona Apple.
